March 11, 2026 – Bugfix Release

Bugfixes:

An error in the questionairs prevented new, user-defined service providers from being created, which has now been fixed.

March 10, 2026 – Bug fix and feature release

Features:

A question in the questionnaire for data processing agreements has been further specified
The texts for data processing agreements in “Section 5 - Subprocessors” have been revised and improved

Bug fixes:

A display error in the numbering of DPA appendices has been fixed
A formatting error in data processing agreements has been fixed
A problem in the automatic creation of tasks for B2B and B2C privacy notices has been fixed

March 9, 2026 – Bug fix and feature release Features:

We have updated some text templates for privacy notices. Customers affected by the change have received an email asking them to review their privacy notices.

Bug fixes:

An error in the record of processing activities has been fixed, which prevented the automatic creation of certain processors in the DPA directory.

March 6, 2026 – Bug fix and feature release

Features:

For custom elements in question catalogs for “websites” and “web and mobile applications,” involved products can now be specified in addition to service providers. Customers who have already completed questionnaires for websites or applications will receive an email asking them to review the existing questionnaires.
When providing information about the actual service in the “web and mobile application” questionnaire, a product/service can now be selected in addition to service providers. Customers who have already completed application questionnaires will receive an email asking them to review the existing questionnaires.
The texts in the “Web and Mobile Application” have been optimized.
Kosovo can now be selected from the country drop-down menus.
User-defined entries for service providers or products have been transferred to Metasoul. In addition, some texts relating to data protection notices have been revised. Customers affected by the change have received an email with instructions to review their privacy notices.

Bug fixes:

An error when suggesting appropriate technical and organizational measures (TOMs) has been fixed. TOMs are now created correctly.
If user-defined elements (e.g., a new website element) were created in a questionnaire, this information was not included in the privacy notice due to an error. This has been fixed, and user-defined entries are now displayed in the privacy notices as well.
An error in the quick links in the Privacy Assistant module has been fixed. Clicking on a privacy notice quick link now correctly redirects you to the corresponding privacy notice.
A bug in the direct links for the tasks “Order Processing Agreements,” “Service Providers,” “Customers,” and “App & Cloud Services” has been fixed. Clicking on the direct link in the task now opens the correct element.
A bug in the view has been fixed in the privacy notice module.
A bug when removing tasks not required anymore has been fixed.

March 2, 2026 – Bugfix Release

Bugfixes:

When clicking on the direct link to a privacy notice in the privacy assistant, an empty privacy notice was opened. This has now been fixed and the direct link from the privacy assistant now opens the correct privacy notice for the respective questionnaire.

February 28, 2026 – Bug fix and feature release

Features:

The questionnaire for general B2B services is now available in the Data Pivacy Assistant
Privacy notices can now be created from questionnaires for general B2B services
For general B2B services, entries are now automatically created in the record of processing activities and processes related to data processing agreements are enabled.
Questionnaires for websites and applications have been expanded to include the default selection of “webfonts.” This selection is now automatically applied to privacy notices. Customers who have already completed questionnaires for websites or applications will receive an email asking them to review the existing questionnaires.

Bug fixes:

A problem in the CSV export of the record of processing activities has been fixed. Exporting the directory is possible again.
When generating a privacy notice for general services to end customers, an error concerning the data categories in the generation has been fixed.
Introductory texts for privacy notices relating to general services to end customers have been revised. Customers who have generated the aforementioned privacy notices have received an email asking them to review and confirm these privacy notices.
Collaboration Invite Finished Task is now opened per invite and not just once per questionnaire.
Bug fix in RoPA that triggers an error when a RoPA is created from a template.

February 7, 2026 – Security, Bug Fix, and Feature Release

Features:

Collaboration feature: Questionnaires can now be shared so they can be filled out by other users without them needing a Metasoul account.
Performance improvements when loading product and service provider dropdowns
Fixing a display error in the website questionnaire

Bug fixes:

Bug fix for calculating expiring/expired subscriptions
Improved filtering of non-compliant data when sending data to third-party providers during the payment process and invoicing
Fixed a display error in generated imprints

Security:

Security update from Django 5.2.10 to 5.2.11, which fixed several CVEs

January 30, 2026 – Bug fix and feature release

Bug fixes:

A task created individually by the user no longer generates an error.
An error in the display of task names that occurred when an entry was created or renamed in the company profile has been fixed.
When creating an order processing agreement through Metasoul, the document status is now correctly set to “Done.”
A display error in the generated imprints has been fixed.
Two missing texts have been added to the frontend.

Features:

The backend has been adapted to automate order processing agreements in the future and further improve the quality of data protection notices.
Performance optimizations have been carried out to offer users an even better user experience.

January 28, 2026 - Bugfix Release

Some DPA-related tasks have not been closed after the related DPA entry got deleted. This is fixed.
Inconsistencies between the tenant view when multiple tenants are assigned to a user is fixed.
Wrong links to the Metasoul documentation in the task-descriptions have been fixed.
Smaller performance optimizations have been applied.

January 27, 2026 - Bugfix und Feature Release

Bug fixes:

Adjustment made to the imprint text regarding information on the company register.
A display issue in the web and app questionair has been fixed.
A field for entering the company VAT number has been added to the company details.
An automation issue from the questionair to the entry in the record of processing activities has been fixed.
An error in the privacy notice module has been fixed: When creating a privacy notice, the selection window did not disappear after a successful selection.
A loading error that incorrectly displayed a questionair as “not completely filled out” has been fixed.
Minor adjustments have been made to the backend.

Features:

The support menu (question mark) has been expanded to include a link to the Metasoul documentation.
The “Help” function now links to the Metasoul documentation.
